RECORD TURNOVER IN HVIDE SANDE HARBOUR
The revenue in Hvide Sande continues to rise, and in 2025 a new record was set with nearly 48 million DKK in revenue. Several factors have contributed to this. More of the Harbour's areas than ever before have been leased out, and fishing has also generated increasing revenue. As a result of the growing revenue, the profit has also increased to 7.4 million DKK.
The profit is also necessary, as there is a need to develop the harbor's facilities, as many new tasks are on the way. Therefore, a new quay is currently being built, and areas for the storage of goods are being expanded. Finally, the Harbor also expects to offer a deeper fairway during 2026. All of this makes it realistic to believe that revenue will also increase in the coming years, as the new offering of two offshore wind farms provides a good opportunity for new tasks for Hvide Sande Harbor, just as continued progress is expected in the leasing of areas. Finally, the new quay and back area will generate greater activity.
"Hvide Sande is characterized by initiative and positive energy. It also provides many opportunities for the Harbor, which we do everything to build on," says Hvide Sande Harbor's chairman, Hans Schneider.
"It is positive that there is good activity in so many different business areas. It is a testament to the fact that there is a mosaic of opportunities in Hvide Sande," says port director Mogens Pedersen.
