Port of Hvide Sande at the WindEurope fair

It was an extraordinary week for Hvide Sande Harbor at the WindEurope 2023 wind turbine fair. 

The European annual wind turbine fair was held this year at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, with more than 500 exhibitors and about 15,000 visitors. Hvide Sande Harbor participated in the fair with a booth in collaboration with HSSG, Hvide Sande Service Group.

It was an extraordinary week focusing on the areas, services, and businesses that Hvide Sande Harbor can offer to the upcoming wind farms in the North Sea. In the next 5-10 years, several wind farms are to be constructed in the North Sea, where Hvide Sande Harbor is the closest port in terms of sailing time.

Especially the upcoming government tender for the next 3 Thor parks generated great interest in Hvide Sande Harbor's facilities. The 3 parks will each have a size between 1 GW and 3.5 GW, meaning somewhere between 200 and 700 wind turbines that need to be serviced and maintained over a 30-year period.
