Comprehensive solutions for the offshore wind industry

We offer a range of facilities built specifically for offshore wind activities. The West Port is particularly suitable for project cargo, wind turbine components, foundations, cables, etc. The quay at West Port is 210 meters long, and the middle 60 meters have a load capacity of 10 tons per m2 (80 tons in point load). The easternmost 90 meters have a load capacity of 5 tons per m2 (47 tons in point load).
Jack-up operations are permitted at the West Quay, as well as at other quays in the port.

The Quay Street is 230 meters long and 35 meters wide and houses 6,000 m2 of storage space. The total ISPS-secured area at West Port is approximately 20,000 m2. The port has areas totaling approximately 200,000 m2 around the West and North Ports. The water depth at West Port is 7 meters.

Port of Hvide Sande is also an obvious choice for service and supply vessels (O&M) to offshore wind farms, as the port has good water depth in all basins, as well as facilities for storage, workshop, changing rooms, and offices near or at the berth. There are options for exclusivity at either a fixed quay or a floating dock. For employees, there are accommodation options at hotels, motels, apartments, or holiday homes within 300-500 meters from the berth. Aside from Copenhagen, the area around Hvide Sande sells the most overnight stays in Denmark each year, which is why there is a large supply of accommodation options.

Port of Hvide Sande offers round-the-clock, fixed port security, which can be summoned 24 hours a day. The port security can provide information about berth, water, electricity, waste management, oil spills, etc.
